It has been an amazing journey. Sciensational Sssnakes!! was created as a company in 1994 in Guelph, ON. For 30+ years we have provided educational presentations, displays and rentals about our amazing reptile and amphibian friends. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and it is time for SciSnakes to shut its doors. We performed our last program at the end of October, 2024, and the animals have been rehomed. Many have gone to other educational facilities. You can visit Gonzo the snapping turtle at the Brantford Twin Valley Zoo, many of our snakes and turtles at Reptilia and Scales Nature Park. Scales will be continuing to offer a program very similar to SciSnakes, including rental programs!
I want to give a heartfelt thanks to all the supporters this business has had over the years. From clients, to staff and volunteers and family, and of course our participants who opened their minds and hearts to these animals, you are wonderful and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution to "Conservation through Education".
